Shadows and Faces (Turkish: G?lgeler ve Suretler) is a 2010 Turkish drama film, written and directed by Dervi? Zaim, which tells the story of a young girl who is separated from her father, a Karag?z shadow play master, during the beginning of the conflict between Turks and Greeks in Cyprus in 1963. The film, which is scheduled to go on nationwide general release across Turkey on March 11, 2011, premiered in competition at the 47th International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival, where it won the Turkish Film Critics Association Award.
